Flying Tots Pre-School
Through developmentally and academically appropriate practice we work to implement the curriculum focusing on the social,creative and emotional development of each child.
The philosophy behind our curriculum is that children learn best by doing and playing and being inspired by developmental and academic opportunities. Learning requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work, and to learn first-hand about the world in which we live. Children are given the opportunities to explore, using all their senses, and using real materials to try out their ideas about size, shape, color and the relationship that exists between things. By moving from the abstract to the concrete, play provides the foundation for academic learning.
Some of the objectives of the Flying Tots Preschool are:
- To provide a setting in which your child feels safe and happy.
- To use your child’s interests and experiences as the basis for learning and activities
- To help your child develop a love for learning; a love that is deep, wide, and ever-growing
- To provide opportunities for your child to learn academic skills through day-to-day activities and through interactive experiences with peers and adults
- To encourage your child’s love for books and foster the pre-reading skills appropriate to his/her stage of development
- To provide opportunities for your child to make discoveries and to use them in learning, developing the building blocks for the study of science
- To develop your child’s problem-solving abilities, developing the skills in the study of mathematics
- To encourage your child’s creativity and artistic expression
- To encourage your child to ask questions, which will be answered sincerely and honestly
- To develop your child’s social skills, in both one-on-one and larger group settings
- To encourage your child to work independently and with his or her peers
- To provide learning materials and equipment, as well caring and committed educators, that encourages your child to gain the positive experiences out of school and themselves
- To help your child become independent and gain a strong, healthy self-esteem and sense of self
Flying Environment
Flying tots infuses the best of what the outdoors have to offer, while remaining in the secure confines of the playschool, with a holistically driven educational approach.
We provide children with ample opportunity to engage in recreation activities in a clean and safe way. We utilize the external environment and its various open-ended resources to aid a child’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. We have a selection of spacious facilities like a jungle gym, puppet theatre, arts and crafts room, yoga area and scribble wall.
Safety & Security
A safe, clean and healthy environment is our mission at flying tots. Only if children feel safe, they are happy. Trained, vigilant staff and CCTVs in every corner provide a secure environment for your loved ones. We recognize that teaching is not just a one-size-fits-all mechanical process; it is an eventful and purposeful enterprise. We understand that every child is different and hence our approach is respect for each child. Our focus is not just on elementary education but we also focus on practical, hands-on activities and creative play which helps in developing artistic expression and social capacities. Our aim is to develop inquisitive and morally responsible individuals equipped with a high degree of social competence. Our pedagogical theory considers that during the first years of life, Children learn best though unselfconscious imitation of practical activities in an environment conducive to learning.
Day Care
Our After school care (home away from home) program.
Flying Tots provides the full day care program which has been designed to provide a facility for parents who would like to see their child be comfortable and safe, while they are at their workplaces. It allows mothers to return to their workplaces without compromising on the quality of care and love their little ones get. We at Flying Tots ensure that we provide a safe, healthy, loving and nurturing space for children to learn and grow.
Our after school care is open to children in the age group 2 to 10yrs. We provide healthy and homemade non spice nutrition’s food to children which are well designed by nutrition keep in mind their age. Our certified staff closely monitors with attentiveness to each and every child and encourages the children to grow and learn through playing and exploration.
Extracurricular activities include dance, Abacus etc. Also a well stocked library is also at children disposal. You can come in anytime and see our facility. We ask you to call and make an appointment for a tour.
Program offered:
- Full day care program: 8 to 7pm
- Six hours half day care program
- Three hours day care program
Mom & Me
Learn how toddler care can help early childhood development.
Our Growing World of Mom & me program uses hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe, engaging surroundings to help your one to two year old learn about his or her expanding world. Through the guidance of our early childhood development professionals, toddlers enjoy learning experiences that promote their blossoming independence and social skills, and foster self-confidence.
